Queen Sized Quilt- How many blocks/packages?
Hello,
I am wanting to buy these quilt blocks, I have never done quilt blocks before. It recommends 30 quilt blocks (5 packages) for a queen sized quilt. To me that seems like a lot and I don't believe I could get them done in time. Would it be possible to do less and just have bigger borders/edges? I do not want them touching (each block have its own border). How many would you realistically recommend? Someone said I could get away with a 4x4 (16 blocks total) pattern and make the top/bottom slightly bigger to make the rectangle instead of square. Thank you for your help! :)
