Strength & Hope Jar Wrappera Cross Stitch Pattern by Imaginating

So I know this is probably a question for customer service, however, with such knowledgeable stitchers in our chit chat group, I thought I'd throw a question their way. I love this Strength and Hope Jar wrapper and think it will make a lovely gift for my mother in law who is a breast cancer survivor. The supplies say OCT for the fabric. I do not know what this is. Also it looks like scallops are cut around the top, left side and bottom so would it be stitched on perforated paper? I did order it. Once I receive it, I will look over the instructions which may better explain the fabric option but in the meantime any help would be most appreciated. Jacquie
