I have known since I started this Cottage series that my Summer design, the third in the series, would be based on beach cottages. The pretty blues and turquoises make me think of the Gulf of Mexico and the bright coral colors are the perfect contrast! The model is stitched on 40 ct Barb's Blend linen by R&R Reproductions using one strand of the called for DMC over two linen threads. Alternative fabrics: This design would be lovely stitched on any pale grey, blue or yellow color. Pick your favorite color and enjoy!
