Summer Vintage Pincushiona Cross Stitch Pattern by Cross-Point Designs

First in a series of four seasonal designs, this pincushion in muted summer colors is worked from a color chart instead of symbols. Designed for Sudberry House's new "Vintage" pincushion, "Summer Vintage" lends itself to both needlepoint with wool on canvas, or with wool or floss on fabric, as the stitches are all full cross stitches. Even if you have never done needlepoint, if you know how to cross stitch, you will have great results with this design. Or, cross stitch the design on fabric instead of canvas, and omit the background stitching. Top and side view photos demonstrate the finished look of mitered corners.
