fun to stitch
I am a cat person and always enjoy stitching projects that contain cats. I love that this has such an interesting pattern that keeps you engaged and using lots of different colors instead of endless pages of monotonous background as some do.

The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful
First of all, it is a BEAUTIFUL pattern. Truly.
But really, what is wrong with designers that they cannot use simple, easy to remember (and read) symbols? Upper Case letters, some Lower Case letters, Numbers, and Common Symbols? I have previously worked projects with 97 colors (this one has 85) using those 4 types of symbols and the project was a breeze.
Paine-free, Tapestry Cats certainly is not.
Then there is the charting. Could they have made it any smaller?? 30 pages or 50 pages....it isn't the NUMBER of pages that makes this difficult! It is that the grid is so small, it is not easy to read.
So, bottom line is that I know this will be a beautiful finished project, but that it has been made much more difficult than it needs to be. And it will be my last Pain Free Crafts design.

The most fantastic chart I've ever bought
A myriad of colours and an excellent chart consisting of 30 pages. I've been cross-stitching for about 30 years and this chart will take me quite awhile to complete; at it for almost a month and not even the top portion of the border is complete. This will be a gift to my grand-daughter, once complete, for her to enjoy forever.

Beautiful
This pattern is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to start it. Still working on the last one I bought. I usually give them away to family and friends but this one is for me. I wanted to do it on black but remembered the last time I did a piece on black, really hard to work on black, so I've decided to work it on white. If you buy this pattern I think you'll really love it.

this chart is beautiful; a friend of mine thought this was my Maine Coon cat! :)
When I was young I stitched constantly and carried my projects with me. I love this Tapestry Cat...I hope this cat rescues me to start stitching again and let some housework go. :) I plan to stitch this Tapestry Cat on linen

finished page 6 "Tapistry Cat"
It took a while but I'm proud that I am still as interested in finishing it as I was when I started.
I think I will start next in the middle and work to the left so that I can start to see more of the cat and the flowers, the edging can be boring at times and a lot of changing of colors I find when that happens I go to a solid color for a change. sometimes I get upset because I can't spend as much time on it as I would like. Back to my stitching

Got the first page done whew.....my advise...count, count, count. didn't make any mistakes because I counted and caught them early. Question: what do you do with all the fabric hanging down? I am using a small hoop better for my arthritic hands. what do you all suggest for the needle threader? Been using the inexpensive ones but they don't last long. any other help??? Love doing it but at 84 I hope I will get it finished before I'm finished. hahahaha

Confetti and more confetti
This pattern has tons of confetti. What is the best way to do it? Stitch the confetti first then the repeating stitches or vice versa? Just trying to find the easiest way to do this. Thanx for your help

fabric size
Hello all, this is the first time I am going to try such a big project but very excited about it. in reading the project information I'm not sure if the fabric size is for over 2 or over 1? I will be using the everweave 25. Any suggesting on attempting this project would be greatly appreciated since most of my equipment is for smaller projects.

Good morning,
Please tell me if this cross stitch project is counted or printed. Also, does it use whole stitches or may there be half stitches and other types of stitches? Has any other customer commented on the outcome of this cross stitch project -- good or bad?

the tapestry cat pattern calls for evenweave ct 25.......I don't see it anywhere...is that Aida cloth or linen and i' don't think I ever saw a 25 ct linen.....i'm a little confused
