Tawny Owlsa Cross Stitch Pattern by Artecy Cross Stitch

I am interested in ordering this pattern. I am not sure of what fabric i need. I was previously using Aida 14 count, I believe, But I need to use a hoop. Which fabric is stiff that I don't need to use a hoop? Would that be the DMC? What is the difference between DMC and Wichelt? Thank you, Michele

I've noticed that only a few colors are shown for any of the patterns and while I understand space constraints and the enormous amount of time required to enter all the colors would it be possible to show some of the more uncommon ones? I'm new to the site so maybe the colors are all shown and I simply don't know how to get them to appear.
