I worked this sampler for my daughter, Amy for her August 11 2007 wedding to Brett. Their theme was "Today I Will Marry My Friend". The pattern was very easy to follow, but there were a few places I had to "improvise" because I did not understand the stitch to use. However, the end result is beautiful, we set it up on the gift table at the reception for the guests to see. I added 2 silver rings, 1 on either side of "joined this day" to make it a little more personal for Amy and Brett. By the way, she was thrilled with it..it was a Surprise gift at the rehearsal dinner..and her Dad made the frame for me, so it was totally from Mom & Dad. Overall a really good stitching experience.
