Wolfa Cross Stitch Kit by Dimensions

This project is on 18 count which gives a nice finished look but I prefer to work on 14 count. Some of the half stitches and some backstitching calls for three strands and I wonder how difficult that will be to do on 18 count. I usually do two strands for half stitches and one strand for backstitch on 14 count, so will see what happens when I get to that part.

Loved the finished product! Directions were clear and all materials were included. This is the only site I use to order cross stitch!

I actually have not started on this project. However, I have checked to make sure that the order was complete. It was. I know if I run out of thread, that I can call Dimensions. I would not recommend this design to a beginner. It is a beautiful design and I am excited to get started. The only thing that bothers me (and I knew it when I ordered it) is that they do not use DMC thread.

I work a couple hours a day on this and the picture is coming along nicely. The many half stitches give a nice dimension to the wolf's fur, some thread combinations give a shimmery realistic view of the tones in a wolf's fur. There are no complaints for this product. My only concern is that if I run out of the provided floss, I will have to contact the company to send me more as the floss is made especially for them. The chart is large and easy to read. Great product!
