Yellowstone National Park Samplera Cross Stitch Pattern by Cody Country CrossStitch

I originally posted this picture in November. Work is slow and steady but that’s OK. I am ready to work on the elk but his antlers are pretty much all confetti. My question is this: how do you anchor (or finish off) one confetti stitch? I understand how to do the stitch but I can’t seem to any info as to anchoring it so it won’t come out. Or am I missing something? You all are so much help and kind. I read this chat forum first thing every morning with my coffee and use it as a great reference!

I am getting ready to do a sampler of Yellowstone National Park. It’s 8 pages. I never done anything this big. To grid or not? Start in center or top left corner? I purchased all supplies including fabric here so I assume the fabric was cut to include the 3 inches for framing. Any and all advice is greatly welcomed. Thanks.
