Quick, easy fun!

I finished this xstitch and love it, the others I have not.

I thought the pattern was cute and started working on it to give as a gift. I'm trying to finish it up, but it has been a real pain. I like to work things in a hoop to get even stitching. The material provided was too small for my 3" hoop so I've had to keep moving it around. The thread they provided was not a good floss. Also I completely ran out of one thread color and I was really being careful to get the thread to go as far as I could. I should have done the first thought I had which was to find comparable color thread with my DMC floss. I haven't finished with it yet but am still working on it and cussing every time the thread shreds or knots. So I can't really recommend it, but that's just my personal opinion.

I’d buy something like this again

I realy like the look of this one. It was easy and can be finished in a day or two if you are determined. The only bad thing is it just barely has enough threads to finish it. I literally had to put the needle through the cloth and then put the tread through the needle because there was only one strand of tread left and I needed to finish several stitches. This happened with four of the colors. I am always conservative with my thread even when I don't need to be so this was a real problem. On the blue I ended up not being able to make the last stitch. That said it comes with a fairly nice little frame and a needle. Just be very careful about wasting treats. Would like to have given 5 stars but with the tread issue I just can't.
