Who says a silhouette has to be stitched in black only? That's the wonderful thing of creating your own pieces, you can choose the colors you want and the possibilities are endless. Use any solid color floss on any fabric. Or why not try using a variegated floss. Feel free to be adventurous with your fabrics and the color of floss you use. I stitched my model using DMC #762 on a 32 count Belfast Linen fabric in "Hocus Pocus" by Hand Dyed by Stephanie.
