Beautiful pattern that uses several different blending threads
I worked this pattern on 28 count over 2 threads material - my finished stocking was 10 x 18. When I gathered the recommended threads, I changed several of the greens for better color contrast. I finished the stocking with a a velveteen back and lined the inside with the same. Finished stocking is 4 layers so that we can stuff stocking full of goodies. Stocking could be made without blending threads but the added detail it provides is well worth the extra effort.

Does this pattern have many 1/4 stitches? I don't remember having those when I did cross-stitch projects years ago. I'm just getting back into it since I retired.

Santa train stocking
I have made quite a few stockings using the kits, but I love this pattern for my newest grandson. But I am concerned that the finished size will be too different from the others. Ideally I would like to use either 16 or 18 count aida cloth, but I don't know what the size would be of the finished stocking. If I were to do it on the linen that is suggested what is the finished size on that?
Could you please give me all the dimensions in inches?
